MADRID – CACERES – EVORA – LISBOA
We leave Madrid, travel to Extremadura. At CÁCERES you can have lunch and stroll through its historical center, one of the best preserved medieval urban and renaissance complexes in the world. Once in Portugal we will stop at ÉVORA, a city declared World Heritage with its white streets, its Renaissance palaces and its cathedral. LISBOA, arrival at the end of the afternoon and we enjoy our welcome drinks in the hotel

LISBON
In the morning we make a panoramic visit of the city during which we will approach the neighborhood of Belem from where the great Portuguese navigators who crossed the oceans in the fifteenth century. Free afternoon; If you wish, you can make an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening we include a transfer to the Plaza de los Restauradores full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes from where, if you want, you can take the Da Gloria Elevator (not included) that leads to the upper district and its viewpoint.

LISBON – FATIMA – OPORTO
We travel to the north of Portugal, we know FÁTIMA, important sanctuary. Arrival to OPORTO, the second city of Portugal, time to have lunch and panoramic visit included of this city, historic center, banks of the Douro. We include visit to old wineries. Free time.

PORTO – SANCTUARY OF THE BOM JESUS - CAMBADOS – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Today we travel between beautiful landscapes. In the city of BRAGA we climb the oldest funicular railway in the world to the BOM JESUS sanctuary, beautiful views. We suggest walking down to admire its beautiful staircase. We continue our trip to Galicia; In the Rias Bajas we know the historic city of CAMBADOS, we include a boat ride with a glass bottom in which they will explain how the mussels and oysters are produced, with tasting of wine and mussels included. After lunch we arrive at SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA.

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – LUGO – LEON – OVIEDO
We travel following the road from Santiago to Castilla. In LUGO we have time to know its historical center and the Roman walls, UNESCO World Heritage. On our route we stop in a small Galician stone village. Arrival at LEÓN at lunchtime. Time to visit the Gothic cathedral with its stained glass windows and walk through the center of this beautiful historic city. Later we crossed the mountains of the Cantabrian Mountains traveling to Asturias. Arrival in OVIEDO at mid-afternoon, We include (sometimes in the morning) a visit of an hour and a half with local guide of the city. We will have a panoramic tour of the 9th century cathedral, the Calatrava Palace, the Campoamor theater, the Rua street.

OVIEDO – COVADONGA – SANTILLANA – SANTANDER
Among beautiful landscapes we see the Basilica of Covadonga. We continue route following the sea towards SANTILLANA, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain with its intact medieval helmet. In its vicinity we visit the Museum of LAS CUEVAS DE ALTAMIRA, (entrance included). Later we travel to SANTANDER, the regional capital, maritime city with breathtaking views between mountains and beaches. We include a panoramic visit with a local guide in which we can discover this elegant coastal city and its beautiful bay. Note: From July to mid September, due to high occupancy some groups will be accommodated in Bilbao.

SANTANDER – BILBAO – MADRID
We follow the highway along the Cantabrian coast, with landscapes of great beauty between the mountains and the sea. BILBAO, arrival in the largest city of the Basque Country. Brief stop next to the Guggenheim Museum of impressive structure. After that, a free time to walk and have lunch in the “Casco Viejo”, active pedestrian historic center of Bilbao, next to its estuary. Continue to MADRID. Arrival to Madrid, around 9:00 p.m.
